Terms of Use

SparkPoint Appliance Repair & Installation (the "Company"), legally registered as SparkPoint Appliance Repair LLC, operates this website and provides appliance repair and installation services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website (sparkpointservices.com) or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, you may not use our site or services.
2. Use of Website
Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials on our site for personal, non-commercial use. You may not:
- modify or copy the materials;
- use the materials for commercial/public display without consent;
- attempt to reverse engineer any software on our site;
- remove copyright notices;
- "mirror" materials on another server.
This license automatically terminates if violated.
3. Service Terms
Service Call Fee:
Diagnostic/service call fee starts at $99 (non-refundable).
Deposits:
Deposits are non-refundable once the appointment is confirmed.
Appliance Movement:
Some jobs may require moving appliances. We are not liable for incidental damage to floors, walls, or surrounding structures.
Parts Orders:
Parts ordered for repair cannot be refunded or cancelled. In limited cases, a restocking fee (up to 30%) may apply.
Cancellations:
Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 3 hours before the scheduled time by calling our office. Otherwise, a cancellation fee of $99 will be charged.
Second Technician:
If a second technician is required, an additional fee of $99 applies.
Warranty:
We guarantee only the specific parts repaired or replaced by the Company, for the period stated on your invoice. Warranty is not transferable.
Exclusions:
We are not responsible for water damage, food spoilage, or consequential damages.
4. Payments & Cancellations
A Service Call Fee of $99 applies to every booking.
At the time of booking, a $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure the appointment.
If the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled at least 3 hours before the scheduled time, only the $50 deposit is retained and no additional charges apply.
If the technician arrives at the service address and the customer:
- does not answer the door,
- does not provide access, or
- cannot be reached by phone,
then the Company reserves the right to charge the full Service Call Fee of $99.
After diagnostic inspection, the technician will provide a repair estimate.
If replacement parts are required, the customer must pay in full for the parts immediately before the order is placed.
The remaining balance of the Service Call Fee ($49) is due at this time, together with payment for any required parts.
The remaining balance for labor and services is due on-site, upon completion of the repair or installation.
Our technicians are instructed not to proceed with repairs or part orders until required payments are received.
We do not extend credit or invoice billing to residential customers.
Commercial or property management clients may be eligible for invoice billing (Net 15 or Net 30 terms) only with a signed service agreement or written approval from SparkPoint Appliance Repair LLC. Overdue invoices may incur late fees and may be sent to collections.
We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, Zelle, and online payment links.
Credit card payments may be subject to a convenience fee (up to 2.5%).
5. Disclaimer
Services and site materials are provided "as is." The Company disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the Company, its owners, or contractors be liable for indirect or consequential damages (including lost profits, data loss, or food spoilage). Our maximum liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service.
7. Revisions & Updates
Materials on our site may contain errors. We may update content or these Terms at any time without notice. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law rules.
9. SMS Communications
By providing your phone number, you agree that SparkPoint Appliance Repair & Installation may send you service-related SMS notifications in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
